Castor Oil Massage for Joints

Ingredients:

IAMA Castor oil (10 drops)

1 tablespoon of beeswax (optional)

5-10 drops of essential oils (such as peppermint, lavender, or eucalyptus)

Instructions:

  1. If using beeswax, gently melt it in a double boiler or a heatproof bowl placed over a pot of simmering water, stirring occasionally until it's completely melted.

  2. Once the beeswax is melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly, then add the castor oil and stir well to combine.

  3. Add the essential oils of your choice and stir again to incorporate them evenly throughout the mixture.

  4. Pour the mixture into a clean, airtight container, such as a small glass jar or tin.

  5. Allow the mixture to cool completely and solidify before use.

To Use:

Before applying, gently massage the affected joint(s) to increase circulation.

Scoop a small amount of the castor oil mixture (about the size of a dime or quarter) and gently massage it into the aching joint(s).

Cover the area with a warm, damp cloth or heating pad to help the oil penetrate deeper into the skin and muscles.

Leave the application on for 30-60 minutes, then rinse the area with warm water.

How often?

Repeat this process 1-2 times per day, or as needed, to help reduce inflammation and pain in the affected joint(s).
