Ingredients:
IAMA Castor oil (10 drops)
1 tablespoon of beeswax (optional)
5-10 drops of essential oils (such as peppermint, lavender, or eucalyptus)
Instructions:
- If using beeswax, gently melt it in a double boiler or a heatproof bowl placed over a pot of simmering water, stirring occasionally until it's completely melted.
- Once the beeswax is melted, remove from heat and let it cool slightly, then add the castor oil and stir well to combine.
- Add the essential oils of your choice and stir again to incorporate them evenly throughout the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a clean, airtight container, such as a small glass jar or tin.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely and solidify before use.
To Use:
Before applying, gently massage the affected joint(s) to increase circulation.
Scoop a small amount of the castor oil mixture (about the size of a dime or quarter) and gently massage it into the aching joint(s).
Cover the area with a warm, damp cloth or heating pad to help the oil penetrate deeper into the skin and muscles.
Leave the application on for 30-60 minutes, then rinse the area with warm water.
How often?
Repeat this process 1-2 times per day, or as needed, to help reduce inflammation and pain in the affected joint(s).
